About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate licensed Mental Health Provider to deliver evidence-based care through the Beacon of Hope Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) on an “as needed” basis. This 8-week, in-person group program serves adolescents ages 12–17 living between Aspen and Parachute. The program provides comprehensive, structured, and individualized treatment for youth experiencing emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges, while allowing them to remain connected to their families, schools, and local communities.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field
  • Active state licensure (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PhD, PsyD)
  • Willingness to be credentialed through various third-party payers
  • 2-3 years experience in counseling related role
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities for diverse mental health conditions
  • Experience working with diverse populations and culturally competent care
  • Ability to complete clinical documentation in an electronic health records (EHR)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based setting
  • Skilled in basic computer operations including the use of the Internet, Microsoft Office, Google Suite and general data management.
  • Uphold personal boundaries with clients, practitioners and other agencies
  • Ability to maintain composure, professionalism, and structure in any given situation
  • Ability to uphold confidentiality at all times and adhere to the minimum necessary rule

Responsibilities

  • Complete required BHA/ AHC training for IOP within the first week of hire, prior to seeing clients independently.
  • Facilitate structured adolescent group therapy sessions focused on healing, peer support, and skill development, creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
  • Lead experiential and creative therapy activities—including art-based interventions, mindfulness practices, and movement-based groups—to promote emotional expression, self-awareness, stress reduction, and resilience.
  • Facilitate IOP groups according to program guidelines
  • Participate in weekly care team meetings and ongoing training to ensure high quality delivery
  • Facilitate family support and education sessions to engage caregivers in the treatment process, strengthen communication, and reinforce supportive home environments.
  • Monitor client progress throughout the 8-week program, adjust interventions as needed, and refer to the crisis team as appropriate.
  • Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency policies, state regulations, and insurance requirements.
  • Adhere to ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and mandated reporting guidelines, including coordination with external agencies when necessary.
  • Acknowledge and adhere to all Aspen Hope Center policies and procedures.
  • Attend IOP team meetings
  • Completes additional tasks as requested by the Therapy Services Director or IOP Supervisor.
