We are seeking a motivated, proactive, and results-oriented candidate to be a part of our Client's Investor Services team. The ideal candidate must exhibit exceptional organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication, and maintain a high level of professionalism. The role is part of an interactive team, and the candidate must be highly collaborative. The candidate must have the ability to take direction, show initiative and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and commitment. Responsibilities will be varied and require discretion, independent judgement, and proactive follow up.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 1-4 years experience in a similar/related financial service role (e.g. hedge fund, investment banking, hedge fund administration, private equity) or recent college graduate with relevant internship experience in the corporate/finance industry
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and follow-up
  • Superior interpersonal skills, proven ability to develop relationships and work with a diverse group including internal and external constituencies
  • Highly developed written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize workload, and maintain composure under pressure; take initiative and possess a business-orientated, entrepreneurial mindset
  • Demonstrate ability to exercise confidentiality, discretion, maturity, and strong independent judgement
  • Proficient MS Office suite skills and experience using a CRM system

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the firm’s CRM (Allvue) to log and track all investor correspondence from initial request to completion
  • Respond to investor queries and requests with a focus on successful, articulate, and efficient interaction
  • Requests consist of Audit Confirmations / Capital Activity Questions / Cashflow Forecasting / DDQ’s / ESG Questionnaires / Profile Updates / Mgmt. Fee Summaries / Portfolio Monitoring / RFPs / RFIs / Transfers / Tax Questions / Misc. Data Requests.
  • Communicate with other internal teams (i.e., legal, compliance, HR, IR, finance, tax, etc.) to obtain necessary data to fulfill requests
  • Assist in managing investor contact permissions and use of the firm’s investor portal
  • Communicate with investors over the phone regarding account inquires, updates, and wire instruction verifications
  • Support team to complete various investor quarterly reporting by updating fee schedules, generating co-invest capital account statements as well as other various investor reports
  • Periodic collection and initial review of investor tax forms
  • System onboarding of new investors and funds
  • Assist in ongoing improvement and implementation of Investor Services related processes.
