About The Position

Essent Group Ltd. is seeking an Investor Relations Senior Analyst to support the Manager, Investor Relations in developing and executing the company's investor relations program. The primary objective of this program is to educate investors and security analysts about the company and to ensure effective investor disclosures and communications, and to build relationships that support favorable future access to capital markets. The candidate is responsible for market/industry research, creating reports and analysis, responding to shareholder inquiries, and scheduling meetings with shareholders, analysts, and other members of the investment community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Major in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline preferred.
  • Working knowledge of equity markets, securities regulations/disclosure requirements, and IR practice preferred.
  • Working knowledge of analyzing financial statements and disclosures of publicly traded companies preferred.
  • Outstanding analytical/financial and data management skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Bloomberg preferred.
  • Experience with AI tools preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • High energy, self-motivated, creative and organized.
  • Attention to detail and a strong focus on teamwork.
  • Ability to be proactive and work independently.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Experience reading and analyzing financial statements preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support strategic integrated communications, including preparing and organizing the earnings prep materials, press releases, and Investor Relations website materials.
  • Create and maintain financial models based upon published analyst reports, working with internal and external analysts to understand key model drivers and align valuations and forecasts.
  • Manage the compilation earnings binders for industry peers and investor binders to prepare senior management for investor meetings.
  • Create stock trend analyses and peer analyses using web-based tools, for presentation to senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Lead the development of and maintain periodic feedback reports on company security performance for senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Assist and support the preparation of quarterly earnings deliverables, such as SEC filings, earnings releases, conference call scripts, potential analyst Q&A sheets, investor presentations, and ad hoc financial analyses.
  • Assist in preparation of other external press releases.
  • Assist with managing shareholders and analyst inquiries/requests and respond in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate responses to shareholder requests.
  • Other Investor Relations or Corporate Development projects as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
