We are looking for an Investor Relations Analyst to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to our VP, Investor Relations and based in San Jose, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week. Role Summary Reporting to the Vice President, Investor Relations, this role is a core strategic partner to senior leadership, responsible for shaping the company’s engagement with the investment community and providing data-driven insight into investor positioning, competition, market perception, and valuation frameworks. The role combines analytical rigor and capital markets judgment with execution of the IR program—owning consensus tracking, peer benchmarking, investor targeting, and Street model analysis. The position requires strong market intuition, the ability to synthesize complex inputs into clear narratives, and credibility with both internal stakeholders and external investors. Hours start early — you need to be aware of market-moving news before the market opens.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of capital markets, financial statements, and the public-company earnings process.
  • Strong written communication skills, with experience drafting investor-facing materials.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including a firm grasp of public-company financial metrics and modeling.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative — with the technical and interpersonal skills to work closely with teams across the company.
  • Ability to travel is required.

Nice To Haves

  • 7+ years of experience in Investor Relations, Buy Side or Sell Side Equity Research, Investment Banking, or FP&A at a public company.
  • Experience with IR platforms and CRMs.
  • Ability to think like an investor is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of the quarterly earnings process — manage cross-functional timelines, prepare and review earnings materials (press release, earnings script, investor presentation, supporting analysis), and ensure accuracy and consistency across external disclosures
  • Plan and coordinate logistics for investor meetings, conferences, factory tours, non-deal road shows, and earnings calls; prepare briefing materials for senior executives ahead of investor and analyst meetings.
  • Own Street intelligence and consensus analytics: Maintain and interpret analyst models, consensus estimates, and revisions using FactSet, S&P and Visible Alpha; proactively identify deviations, key drivers, and emerging risks or opportunities in Street expectations; deliver timely, data-driven insights to leadership.
  • Lead investor positioning analysis: Analyze shareholder base, flows, and positioning trends to inform targeting strategy and anticipate trading dynamics; develop regular insights on how the stock is owned and where incremental demand may come from.
  • Develop peer benchmarking and valuation frameworks: Maintain a consistent view of relative valuation across key peers, including revenue, EBITDA, and cash flow multiples; contextualize Bloom’s positioning within AI, power infrastructure, and broader industrial/tech ecosystems.
  • Translate market feedback into strategy: Synthesize investor and sell-side feedback into actionable insights for senior leadership; identify shifts in investor perception and recommend adjustments to messaging and engagement.
  • Support executive engagement with investors: Prepare senior leadership for investor and analyst interactions with clear, insight-driven briefings incorporating investor history, positioning, and key debate areas.
  • Oversee IR data systems and AI tools: Utilize FactSet, Visible Alpha, and IR CRM platforms to maintain high-quality data on consensus, ownership, and engagement activity.
  • Ensure disciplined disclosure and compliance: Partner with Legal and Finance to maintain adherence to Reg FD and SEC requirements, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all external communications.
  • Contribute to broader capital markets strategy: Support positioning around capital allocation, investor targeting, and major events (e.g., roadshows, investor days, potential index inclusion scenarios).
