About The Position
Goldman Sachs Asset Management is a leading global asset manager. The Alternatives Capital Formation (ACF) team manages capital raising and strategy for a wide range of alternative investments, including private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, growth equity, sustainability, secondaries, GP stakes, and hedge funds. ACF works with various Goldman Sachs professionals to offer alternative investment solutions to clients. The Investor Relations (IR) team, part of ACF, provides client service to limited partners by offering reporting solutions for their alternative portfolios. IR keeps investors informed about fund performance, portfolio updates, and upcoming capital activity, and assists with cashflow questions. The team also shares sector themes and investor trends to enhance the client experience.
Requirements

- Strong organizational skills to manage production of a high volume of quality work within tight timeframes, often including multiple simultaneous projects

Responsibilities
- Support and respond to investors on their inquiries.
- Engage with existing investors on regular portfolio updates, ongoing investor requests, and investor tracking.
- Produce and update investor materials, including holdings summaries, performance and data analysis.
- Analyze investor specific cashflow projections and capital activity.
- Engage directly with product specialists on effective messages for investors about relevant updates in the fund portfolio.
- Support quarterly fund reporting with a deep understanding of the performance drivers and the fund allocations.
- Inform and support investors through capital activity cycles.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across ACF, fund finance, legal, and compliance to develop and execute a seamless investor experience.
- Track and maintain relevant content based on historical client requests to support proactive future client service.
