About The Position

The Tax Analyst will prepare Fiscal and Excise tax provision workpapers and related tax adjustments. They will also be responsible for preparation and review of tax returns and their associated schedules and attachments, tax estimates, as well as other client deliverables. The Tax Analyst must possess RIC operational experience; either in fund accounting or financial reporting, RIC tax experience is preferred. The strong candidate will have an attention to detail and a team attitude.

Requirements

BS/BA degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent work experience
Understanding of tax concepts, practices, and procedures helpful.
Strong client service skills and ability to work in a team
Ability to understand financial statements and fund accounting reports and spreadsheets
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required
Ability to conceptualize and execute projects and initiatives through to completion
Creative problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify, recommend, and implement solutions for tax-related client issues
RIC operational experience; either in fund accounting or financial reporting

RIC tax experience is preferred.
