About The Position

The Investment Sales Associate (ISA) is an entry-level role within the extensive, multi-year Investment Sales Desk Development Program (ISDP). As part of the Fidelity Institutional (FI) - Intermediary Investment Client Group, this role offers a collaborative, competitive, and high-energy sales environment. The ISA role is designed to prepare and expose individuals to various facets of financial services and investment products. It is ideal for those who enjoy working with people, have a strong interest in financial services, seek aggressive skill development, and desire opportunities for progression and promotion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Series 7 & Series 63 licenses required (may be attained in role)

Responsibilities

  • Consulting with financial advisor clients via phone and Zoom.
  • Providing market insight, investment product overviews, and portfolio construction ideas to help financial advisors achieve their clients' financial goals.
  • Growing foundational knowledge of the financial industry through a multi-year development program with distinct phases.
  • Influencing the sale of investment products by working with intermediary clients.
  • Pro-active client engagement to initiate new client relationships and sales opportunities.
  • Sales territory ownership with an external sales partner to drive investment product sales.
  • Building skills and knowledge in Capital Market and Investment Product Knowledge, Sales Process and Sales Territory Management, Consultative Presentation Capabilities, and the Financial Advisor and Intermediary Eco-System.
  • Supporting financial advisor clients in the growth and impact of their financial wellness planning and advisory practices.
  • Leading, mentoring, being an ally, and supporting a culture of inclusivity.
