The Investment Risk Monitoring Senior Analyst provides superior Operational support to internal and external customers while minimizing the potential for trade loss and reputational risk that can result from investment or trade allocation related errors and/or compliance violations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and/or 2 - 5 years of experience in investment operations, compliance, or risk management
- Understanding of financial services, familiarity with security types and derivative instruments preferred (Equity and Fixed Income)
- Strong organizational and analytical skills along with attention to detail

Responsibilities
- Perform a range of daily monitoring assignments related to investment risk monitoring and key controls.
- Research and resolve exceptions on the daily reports, using judgment to escalate concerns and recommend solutions or next steps to resolve discrepancies or potential trade errors.
- Perform a range of monthly reporting assignments for IMC reporting.
- Research and resolve exceptions independently using discretion and based on MFS policies and procedures, industry best practices, and communication with the Investment teams as needed.
- Recommend enhancements where needed to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide coverage across the team as needed.
