About The Position

The Investment Product Analyst will work closely with the combined Fixed Income / Multi-Asset Product team as well as the US Fixed Income and US Multi-Asset Investment teams to deliver investment and product information to a range of internal and external clients. Excellent data management and technology skills are required, with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. Knowledge of fixed income and equity markets is required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years fixed income investment experience, preferably at an asset management firm, investment consultant, firm, with basic knowledge of fixed income markets and products
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a finance related field. CFA or advanced degree a plus
  • Strong math, data management, and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Macros and VBA a plus
  • Strong writing skills
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently as well as part of a team
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Macros and VBA a plus
  • Must be detailed oriented and highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Thomson Reuters Refinitiv Eikon
  • Understanding of multi-sector fixed income and multi-asset investing
  • Experience with credit research and investing

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and report portfolio characteristics, statistics, and other investment data primarily for US Multi-Sector (“MS”) and US Multi-Asset (MA) products to internal and external clients in a timely manner. Accounts include segregated mandates, UCITS, US mutual funds, CITs and LPs.
  • Update data for strategy and fund presentations as well as client marketing material including fund fact sheets, sales aids and quarterly investment reports.
  • Write product and client monthly and quarterly commentaries including market updates, attribution, positioning and outlook.
  • Update consultant and client databases with product data and portfolio information
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and responses for product and client queries
  • Assist with competitive analysis using Morningstar and eVestment
  • Write, update and maintain product language and data for MS and MA products in the RFP databases and work with RFP and client portfolio managers to customize as needed.
  • Develop comprehensive product knowledge on fixed income investments and all USFI and USMA products.

Benefits

  • base salary in the range of $100,000 to $115,000 for this position (depending on experience)
