About The Position

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for financial markets and client service? Corporate One is seeking an Investment Operations Specialist to support our investment sales team by delivering primarily analytical and operational support, with occasional client service responsibilities as backup to the investment sales team. This role plays a key part in driving sales performance, ensuring accurate trade execution, and helping credit union clients achieve their investment goals. You’ll balance market research, trade support, and internal collaboration with the investment team, while providing behind-the-scenes support that helps drive client success. While this role is primarily focused on operational and analytical tasks, you may occasionally assist clients over the phone as backup to the investment sales team. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys variety, being analytical, solving problems, and contributing to outcomes both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of fixed income markets and institutional investment strategies
  • Proficiency in Bloomberg and Salesforce
  • Experience analyzing market data and supporting investment sales
  • Financial modeling or portfolio analysis experience
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision
  • Experience in B2B sales or client relationship management
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements related to securities transactions
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in investments or financial services
  • Knowledge of fixed income instruments (CDs, bonds)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Series 7 and 63 preferred; support for licensure available

Responsibilities

  • Update daily offering sheets for SimpliCD (Certificates of Deposit) and investment securities for internal and external distribution
  • Deliver tailored securities offerings using market research and analysis
  • Assist in executing securities transactions and ensure accurate settlement and documentation (with appropriate licensure)
  • Serve as backup for client support via phone or email when investment sales team members are unavailable
  • Maintain Salesforce records, investment databases, and documentation
  • Support Asset Liability Management operations, including rate administration and security safekeeping
  • Assist with proposal generation, performance modeling, and presentations
  • Collaborate with marketing and compliance teams on outreach and regulatory documentation
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned
