About The Position

Zurich Group Investment Management, Inc. (ZGIM), a part of Zurich North America, is seeking an Investment Operations Associate to join the Investment Administration and Accounting (IAA) team. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree with 2 or more years’ experience in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting OR High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 4 or more years of experience in Investment operations
Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience working with private debt asset classes and alternative investments products

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with investment instruments such as bonds, equities, private debt asset classes and alternative investments products
Experience with FSCM, FAM, or TRM modules in SAP Treasury; financial technical skills are an asset.
A proactive, solutions focused mindset to support reporting and operational activities.
Willingness to learn new tools, processes, and evolving Operational requirements.
Strong motivation to stay current with emerging technologies, including the practical application of AI features, to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Processing, posting, and clearing of transactions related to private debt instruments and alternative investment products
Processing income payments, capital calls, distributions, and lifecycle events for private market assets
Ensuring accurate and timely month-end closing activities for private debt instruments and alternative investments products
Performing monthly reconciliations of private asset holdings, alternative investments products and related cash accounts
Generate insights and recommendations by addressing specific technical queries from clients and delivering appropriate solutions.
Supporting internal initiatives, system enhancements, and client-specific requirements.
Collaborating with investment teams, custodians, and third-party administrators to resolve complex operational issues.
Using digital tools effectively to organize, track, and complete work, while supporting automation and digitalization initiatives related to private and illiquid assets
Validating and continuously improving controls and quality checks as part of the closing process and internal frameworks
