About The Position

C&N is seeking an Investment Officer to manage investment portfolios and provide thoughtful investment guidance within their Wealth Management team. In this role, you will conduct investment research, make portfolio recommendations, execute trades, monitor performance and risk, and communicate investment strategies to clients and internal partners. Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field, along with 4–6 years of investment experience with progressive responsibility in portfolio management, investment analysis, trading, wealth management, or a related field.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) within 3 years of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned client portfolios and investment strategies, including portfolio construction, asset allocation, monitoring, rebalancing, and risk management.
  • Research securities, investment managers, sectors, industries, and market conditions to identify opportunities and support informed investment decisions.
  • Execute security trades, coordinate investment transactions, monitor portfolio activity, and support the development and maintenance of investment models.
  • Participate in client meetings, communicate investment strategy and market conditions, prepare portfolio reviews and performance reports, and provide investment guidance to clients and internal partners.
  • Support investment policies, Investment Review Committee activities, reporting, and initiatives that strengthen portfolio management and investment processes.
