As an Investment Managing Director within PNC's Private Bank organization, you will be based in Cleveland, OH. Requirements

  • University / college degree and higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications.
  • Industry -relevant experience is typically 8+ years.
  • At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required.
  • Proven leadership experience with a large scope of responsibility is required.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • In partnership with AMG senior leadership, develops, directs, oversees and provides strategic direction to the investment function, including critical measurements, for a particular segment(s).
  • Is responsible for the business and customer experience results for a product portfolio within that segment.
  • Supports the overall mission and vision of the business.
  • Serves as a member of the senior leadership team and represents the function as a subject matter expert.
  • Works closely with others on AMG client investment initiatives.
  • Provides strategic input and establishes priorities with regard to new products, investment strategy and customer needs.
  • Ensures appropriate investment management policies are in place and maintains adherence to PNC's policies and procedures.
  • Proactively identifies, resolves or escalates risk management issues. Risks could include key risks to PNC or issues related to audit, compliance or regulatory matters.
  • Supports company objectives by organizing and participating in special projects and initiatives, by encouraging and promoting a positive client experience and proactive practice management, and by achieving overall business growth objectives.
  • Oversees the functional duties and career development of investment advisors and investment product managers and the local delivery of the investment management process.
