About The Position

The Technology & Operations Associate Program (TOP) was established in 2000 to develop future leaders. This rotational program allows Associates to experience up to four six-month rotations within a specific track, in this case, Investment Management Operations, before joining a permanent team. Associates gain exposure across the firm through various business areas, supported by formal training and mentorship. Each rotation requires learning new skills or expanding existing ones, and each associate will complete a critical project. Mentors will assist with the transition into the firm and provide career advice. Upon successful completion of each rotation, associates will present to a committee of senior leaders in Operations and Technology. Throughout the program, associates will meet with program leaders to review career paths and determine future opportunities based on firm needs and associate interests. Operations provides comprehensive middle and back office support for AllianceBernstein’s investment services (equities, fixed income, alternative investments) and distribution channels (institutional clients, individuals, and private clients). This role involves working with the front office, portfolio management, custodian banks, and vendors, providing regional support in the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. The program exposes associates to various functional areas within Operations, including Derivative Operations, Client Guideline Management, Global Portfolio Administration, Private Client Administration, Reference Data Services, Fixed Income – Alternatives Operations, Operational Risk, and Alternatives Infrastructure & Operations.
