About The Position

This internship program provides an opportunity to experience buy-side investing with an innovative investment management organization. Interns will collaborate alongside premier investment professionals and influence the outcomes of over fifty million clients. Through hands-on involvement with the global investment ecosystem and equipped with the tools and resources to succeed, interns will learn how these elements shape the financial future of clients and Vanguard itself. The program includes pursuing assignments within Vanguard's investment teams such as fixed income, global equity, strategic & quantitative equity, investment strategy, portfolio review, and risk management. Interns will work in a department that draws upon their experiences and interests while meeting strategic business needs. The program offers a comprehensive approach to investing that employs a range of strategies across asset classes, growing expertise while developing a broad understanding of Vanguard’s mission-driven investment philosophy. Smaller cadre sizes support opportunities focused on learning, individualized feedback, and close community connections. Interns will collaborate with others and lead a project distilling complex data to uncover insights that will be presented to leadership, influencing decisions that directly affect investors. Regular meetings with department managers, internship program managers, assigned buddies, and key business leaders will provide personalized coaching and mentorship.
