You will source and evaluate investments, guide strategic initiatives, and connect insights from the AI ecosystem to executive decision-making. It is both analytical and highly collaborative, requiring strong judgment, technical fluency, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or related field and MBA from a Tier 1 university
  • Experience in venture capital, startups, or senior operating roles, including deal sourcing and investment processes
  • Strong financial acumen with technical depth in at least one relevant AI or semiconductor-related domain
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and delivering clear, data-backed recommendations
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with competing priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the Bay Area/Silicon Valley venture ecosystem
  • Background in data center hardware systems and/or data center software
  • Experience at a Tier 1 consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG)
  • Domain expertise in areas such as physical AI, autonomous vehicles, manufacturing, or data center systems/software
  • International education or work experience and exposure to global business environments

Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate venture investments across Seed, Series A, and Series B, owning deal flow through diligence and execution
  • Drive alignment and execution of AI/ML initiatives across the company, including Generative AI and physical AI
  • Maintain relationships with portfolio companies and ensure alignment with Micron’s investment strategy
  • Develop executive-level briefings and recommendations for leadership, the Board, and the Investment Committee
  • Mentor team members and partner cross-functionally with business and technology stakeholders
