About The Position

The Investment Consultant role is focused on developing customized financial plans for clients using a wide range of products and services. This role involves engaging with existing clients and warm leads, providing investment solutions, and growing client relationships. The position emphasizes utilizing Fidelity's planning tools and technology to conduct efficient client appointments and follow-ups. The goal is to make a difference in clients' lives by helping them make investment decisions that are in their best interest and have a lasting impact on their financial future. This role requires in-person attendance in the assigned Branch location.

Requirements

  • FINRA Series 7 & 66 licensed and hold appropriate state registrations, OR ability to acquire Series 66 upon hire

Responsibilities

  • Develop customized financial plans through a wide range of products and services using sound judgment, keen knowledge of products, and Fidelity‘s planning tools.
  • Engage with existing clients and warm leads, focusing on providing investment solutions and growing relationships.
  • Utilize Fidelity’s guidance tools to engage in financial planning discussions, presenting solutions and service offerings that best meet client needs.
  • Prepare for and conduct efficient one-on-one appointments using technology to make the best use of the client’s time, and plan for post-appointment follow-up.
  • Grow relationships through proactive outreach, seeking to understand clients’ goals and objectives.
  • Refer clients to a wealth management partner based on needs and financial complexity.
  • Educate customers on the values and differences of various investment solutions.
  • Work directly with clients to help them make investment decisions that are in their best interest.
  • Effectively navigate Fidelity’s planning and guidance tools, presenting and implementing solutions that best meet the client’s needs.
