About The Position

Completes basic operations using equipment such as wax molds, a soldering gun, cut-off wheels, and automated machinery while adhering to safety guidelines. The role involves preparing and assembling products and components, inspecting finished products, maintaining quality and production standards, and documenting completed work. The position works the 10 p.m.–10 a.m. shift on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least six months of experience in a foundry environment working in cutoff, snag, or forming capacity.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions and address problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.

• Prior inspection or manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble or prepare products and product components.
• Complete well-defined tasks with moderate supervision.
• Monitor product quality and take corrective action according to established protocols.
• Operate within defined operating procedures and department standards.
• Visually inspect finished products for defects.
• Communicate with coworkers within a work cell to exchange information.
• Inspect or assemble parts, components, or finished products.
• Maintain product quality and meet production standards.
• Perform basic cleaning and maintenance on machines.
• Document operations and quantities completed.
• Perform other tasks as directed by management.
