We are currently looking for an experienced Investment Banking Vice President for our Healthcare MedTech team in Minneapolis, MN This role offers a significant opportunity for an ambitious professional to join our strategically expanding Med Tech Investment Banking team. You will play a pivotal role in executing high-profile transactions and providing critical strategic and financial advice to leading public and private companies within the sector. As a core member of our team, you will gain extensive sector expertise and in-depth transaction experience. This position provides direct exposure to senior bankers and C-suite executives, offering unparalleled mentorship and the opportunity to develop lasting client relationships. You will be instrumental in advising some of the most relevant companies in the Healthcare and Med Tech landscape, directly contributing to their strategic growth and capital market activities. Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of investment banking experience or MBA degree and 3+ years of investment banking or closely related experience
  • Meaningful M&A transaction experience required
  • Ability to lead junior bankers throughout a transaction; includes reviewing work, setting expectations and providing constructive feedback
  • Business writing skills, including the ability to write compelling selling memorandums and presentations
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and M&A deal modeling experience
  • Client management skills including ability to build relationships and establish trust with internal and external stakeholders
  • Exceptional work ethic and a high level of enthusiasm, initiative and leadership potential
  • Deep understanding and passion for healthcare and the medical device ecosystem
  • Highly motivated, team player with strong attention to detail and an ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelors or MBA Degree in finance, business, management plus other related degrees.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key contact for select clients, fostering impactful relationships and contributing to client coverage.
  • Develop compelling marketing materials for company sale and financing assignments.
  • Actively participate in due diligence processes and drafting sessions for public offerings.
  • Assume increasing responsibilities in new business development initiatives over time.
  • Lead and support the execution of M&A, equity, equity-linked, and debt transactions.
  • Prepare comprehensive strategic and M&A analyses, detailed company valuations, and financial models.
