About The Position

Citizens’ Capital Markets & Advisory Summer Analyst Program offers motivated undergraduate students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a leading U.S. middle-market franchise, combining the resources of a large financial institution with a relationship-driven, team-oriented culture. CM&A is deeply integrated across Industry Coverage, Leveraged Capital Markets, and Mergers & Acquisitions, providing interns with broad exposure to live transactions, formal training, structured mentorship, and senior leadership. Throughout the 10-week internship, Summer Analysts are assigned to active and prospective engagement teams across multiple industries, quickly gaining meaningful responsibility and developing core investment banking skills. CM&A’s Summer Analyst program is the primary pipeline for full-time Analyst roles within the investment bank.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate student graduating Winter 2027 – Spring 2028
  • Strong academic performance; preferred GPA of 3.5 or higher (minimum GPA 3.2)
  • Prior experience, leadership involvement, or coursework in Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred; all majors considered
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Must be a U.S. resident with permanent authorization to work in the United States
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for intern or full-time Analyst positions

Responsibilities

  • Build and analyze financial models, including comparable company, precedent transaction, leveraged buyout, and other valuation analyses
  • Assist in drafting information memoranda and other transaction-related documentation
  • Support pitch development, transaction structuring analyses, and new business initiatives
  • Prepare pitch books, presentations, and internal underwriting materials
