About The Position

The Truist Securities Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week internship designed to provide participants with exposure to various investment banking disciplines. Interns will enhance their financial analysis skills, gain an understanding of corporate markets and clients, and acquire experience in corporate finance and investment banking products through on-the-job training. Summer Analysts will support internal and external clients by conducting financial and market analysis for new business development and transaction execution, preparing client presentations, working on financial models, and performing peer comparison analysis. The program aims to equip interns with a solid understanding of the industry, organization, and strategy. Competitive Summer Analysts may receive an offer for full-time positions in the Analyst program upon graduation. The program includes networking events, social activities, case studies, presentations, team-building projects, an Executive Speaker Series, and opportunities for community service. Candidates may be placed in various industry coverage groups within Truist Securities, including Financial Institutions, Financial Sponsors, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Industrials & Services, and Technology.

Requirements

  • Scheduled graduation of final degree between December 2027 and June 2028.
  • Proven analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Solid leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • English language fluency (Required).

Nice To Haves

  • Business, Economics, or STEM major.
  • Overall GPA of 3.0.
  • Prior completion of Accounting or Finance coursework.
  • High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement.
  • Willingness to commit substantial time and energy to the program.
