Our Technology team works with buyers and sellers, including both strategic and financial investors, providing M&A, debt, and equity solutions for both public and private companies across the Technology sector. We serve clients throughout North America and in Europe, including on cross-border and transatlantic transactions. Our bankers have been active in subsectors including Internet of Things; Financial Technology & Payments; Healthcare IT; Property and Lending Technology and Services; Security Software; and Vertically Focused Software Applications. As an Associate or Vice President at Stephens, you have significant responsibility in supporting senior bankers with business development, relationship maintenance and transaction execution, as you continually develop expertise within the Technology industry.

Requirements

At least 4 years of investment banking experience or an MBA with investment banking experience
Experience advising companies on M&A or strategic transactions is desired
Excellent analytical and modeling skills
High energy with strong interpersonal, accounting and finance skills
Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines
Strong commitment to respecting and safeguarding confidential information;
Commitment to working hard
Extraordinary focus on work quality and attention to detail
Adherence to regulatory requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to learn quickly, with a particular focus on accounting rules and financial valuation methodologies

Responsibilities

Creation and execution of business development and marketing plans in coordination with Senior Bankers.
Oversee the execution of live engagements, from the initial preparation phase through the closing of transactions.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of work for Associates and Analysts.
Recruit, educate, and train Investment Banking Associates and Analysts.
Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
