About The Position

This role supports senior bankers in executing private capital market deals, acting as a vital member of deal teams. The Analyst will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial models and projections specific to private capital market transactions. They will also assist in creating and improving marketing and execution materials to enhance client impact and engagement. Additionally, the role involves conducting research on industries, companies, and markets to aid in deal origination and execution, as well as identifying and evaluating deal-related risks to ensure compliance and strategic fit. The Analyst will coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders, such as legal counsel, accountants, and counterparties, to ensure smooth transaction processes. Participation in client meetings, Q&A sessions, and management interviews is also expected, providing support to senior bankers and ensuring alignment with client goals.

Requirements

  • Prior internship or work experience in an investment banking front office role, with exposure to private capital markets preferred.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel modeling and valuation work.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with the aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative solutions.
  • Adaptability and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, assuming responsibility as a team member.
  • Professional and mature interaction with clients and colleagues, fostering strong relationships and trust.
  • Solid understanding of financial, legal, and reputational risks facing large integrated investment banks in today's environment.
