About The Position

Wells Fargo Corporate & Investment Banking delivers a comprehensive suite of banking and financial solutions to over 15,000 corporate and institutional clients, including over 70% of the S&P 500. A trusted partner to our clients, we provide corporate and transaction banking, commercial real estate lending and servicing, and equity and fixed income solutions - including sales, trading, and research capabilities - to corporate and institutional clients. As an Associate in the Investment Banking Program, you will be part of a team that supports clients through strategic transactions and capital raising. From day one, you will contribute directly to live projects, build relationships with clients and senior bankers, and support work that helps clients achieve their strategic objectives in today’s dynamic environment. You will join a product or industry coverage group and contribute directly to transaction execution, client deliverables, and coordination across deal teams. The program begins with six weeks of comprehensive training covering financial accounting, credit analysis, valuation, and modelling. You will also prepare for Series 63, 79, and SIE license exams. Following training, you will step directly into live deal execution and client advisory work, with responsibility for deliverables and workstreams across transactions and strategic client engagements.

Requirements

2+ years of investment banking program experience or equivalent, demonstrated through work, military service, training, or education
FINRA registration for SIE, Series 63 (or 66), and Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire if not already held.
Candidates must successfully complete and pass a FINRA background check prior to hire.
Employees are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation, and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions.

Responsibilities

Building valuation models and supporting transaction execution
Leading workstreams and driving completion of key deliverables
Conducting company and industry research to inform client advice and transaction strategy
Preparing and reviewing client materials and pitch presentations
Participating in diligence sessions, client meetings, and internal discussions
Coordinating with senior bankers, analysts, and partners across sectors and geographies
Supporting the development of junior team members
