We are currently looking for an experienced Investment Banking Associate to join our Consumer team in our Charlotte, NC or San Francisco, CA offices. This individual will serve as a generalist with potential exposure to our various consumer verticals. Our associate position offers a unique opportunity for professionals seeking to play a meaningful role in our continued growth while gaining significant experience in M&A, debt, equity and equity-linked transactions. The associate will prepare valuations, write memorandums for company sale assignments and private placements, prepare M&A analyses, and participate in due diligence and drafting sessions for public offerings. The associate is responsible for structuring and executing transactions, and typically functions as a backup for relationships with important clients, is generally the key contact for some clients, and begins to assume some important new business responsibilities. Requirements

  • 3+ years of Investment Banking experience
  • Prior work experience involving financial analysis or transaction execution
  • Degree in finance, business, management plus other related degrees
  • Exceptional work ethic and a high level of enthusiasm, initiative, and leadership potential
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop trust with clients and internal partners
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and financial modeling
  • Motivated, team player with an interest and ability to learn in an energetic and challenging environment
