About The Position

We are looking for an Investment Banker to join the Financial Institutions Group (FIG). FIG provides clients with mergers & acquisitions (M&A)/advisory, capital raising, and general financial advice through qualitative and quantitative analysis. This role involves assisting in the origination and execution of FIG transactions for domestic and foreign corporate and private equity clients, working on major workstreams including diligence, financial projections, and client deliverables. The role requires preparing and interpreting analytical data, presenting effectively to clients, collaborating globally, generating new ideas, and making sound judgments within ethical and regulatory standards. The company is also open to applications from career returners and utilizes artificial intelligence to enhance workflows.

Requirements

Experience in executing public and private FIG transactions
Ability to work effectively with both corporate and private equity clients
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in all relevant financial analyses
Demonstrated track record of taking initiative and managing teams
Undergraduate degree
Curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows
Sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use

Responsibilities

Assist in the origination and execution of FIG transactions for domestic and foreign corporate and private equity clients
Work on major workstreams of FIG transactions including diligence, the development of financial projections and analyses, and all client deliverables
Independently prepare, interpret, and discuss analytical data
Present to internal and external clients effectively and with confidence
Collaborate with colleagues across the globe to provide clients with seamless transaction execution
Generate new ideas and creative approaches that push the business forward
Make sound and balanced judgments (and always within professional, ethical, regulatory, and legal standards)
