Investment Banking Analyst - DCM
About The Position
Piper Sandler is seeking experienced Analysts to join its Debt Capital Markets team in the New York City office. The team works with industry bankers to advise corporate and private equity clients on optimal transaction structures and has raised more than $45 billion in public and private debt since 2013. Analysts receive exposure to mergers and acquisitions, capital-raising transactions, and strategic advisory projects, with opportunities for long-term growth and career advancement. The role supports transaction execution, financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, research, and client and senior banker interaction. The anticipated starting salary is $110,000–$125,000 per year, depending on experience, location, and other factors. The position is eligible for annual incentive compensation.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of investment banking or related financial experience.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and learn quickly.
- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience with financial modeling or formal training.
- Positive attitude and desire to contribute to the culture of a close-knit team.
- U.S. work eligibility is required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or another related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
