About The Position

Piper Sandler is seeking a Class of 2027 Investment Banking Analyst for its Technology Investment Banking team in Charlotte, NC. This is a rigorous program for exceptionally qualified individuals who will be graduating in May/June 2027. The investment banking group partners with corporate clients and financial sponsors to provide advisory and financing services related to mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital markets, private placements, restructuring, and corporate & venture services. The firm offers in-depth knowledge and industry relationships in core sectors including chemicals, consumer, services & industrials, energy, power & infrastructure, financial services, healthcare, and technology. The Analyst Program involves working closely with senior bankers on various investment banking activities such as equity and debt offerings, valuations, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and strategic advisory work. The work environment is described as collaborative, demanding, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial.

Requirements

  • Graduating in May/June 2027
  • Work authorized in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Cannot offer employment to F-1 (student) visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis
  • Demonstrated academic achievement
