About The Position

Piper Sandler is seeking a Class of 2027 Investment Banking Analyst for their Technology team in San Francisco, CA. This is a rigorous program for exceptionally qualified individuals who will be graduating in May/June 2027. As a leading investment bank, Piper Sandler enables growth and success for clients through deep sector expertise, candid advice, and a differentiated, highly productive culture. The investment banking group partners with corporate clients and financial sponsors to provide advisory and financing services related to mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital markets, private placements, restructuring, and corporate & venture services. They offer in-depth knowledge and industry relationships in core sectors including technology. The Analyst Program involves working closely with senior bankers on equity and debt offerings, valuations, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and strategic advisory work. Analysts will create financial models, conduct financial valuations, create and maintain industry-specific business development books, conduct industry- and company-specific research, and interact with clients and senior bankers. The environment is described as collaborative, demanding, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial. Top analysts may be invited to stay on for a third year, with direct promotion to Associate available for strong performers without an MBA.

Requirements

  • Graduating in May/June 2027
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, management, or other related degrees required
  • Must be work authorized in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
