About The Position

Piper Sandler is seeking a Class of 2027 Investment Banking Analyst for their Chemicals Investment Banking team in New York, NY. This is a rigorous program for exceptionally qualified individuals who will graduate in May/June 2027. Analysts will work closely with senior bankers on various investment banking activities including equity and debt offerings, valuations, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and strategic advisory work. The environment is described as collaborative, demanding, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial. Top analysts may be invited to stay for a third year, with direct promotion to Associate available for strong performers without an MBA. The program begins in June 2027 with training at the headquarters in Minneapolis, covering technical topics like accounting, valuation, financial modeling, and general computer skills, along with social and team-building activities.

Requirements

Graduating in May/June 2027
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, management, or other related degrees required
Must be work authorized in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
Cannot offer employment to F-1 (student) visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis
