Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of wealth management experience
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel along with a good working knowledge of MS Office programs
  • CIRO Licensed as an Investment Representative required and Registered Representative preferred
  • Well-rounded knowledge of the securities industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, take initiatives and multi-task
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with employees and clients at all levels

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Dataphile, Salesforce and netx360 would be an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Working directly with our team and portfolio managers where the focus is on trade reconciliation and settlement, trade allocation uploads and other trade spreadsheets preparation.
  • Support daily trading activities by coordinating trade execution and allocations.
  • Prepare, validate, and upload trade allocation files for block trades across multiple portfolios.
  • Assist with foreign exchange (FX) preparation, including building and preparing Excel spreadsheets for currency conversions.
  • Monitor daily cash balances across client accounts and execute money market trades as needed.
  • Perform trade-related calculations and reconciliation of discrepancies.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all trade files prior to submission.
  • Monitor daily trading activity to identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
