About The Position

Pantheon is seeking an Investment Associate to support the Global Infrastructure & Real Assets Investment team. This role involves providing transaction support in deal execution, including GP-led secondaries, LP portfolio secondaries, co-investments, and primary fund selection. The associate will also be involved in asset management and other ad-hoc projects to drive team and business growth. Pantheon has a long-standing reputation in private markets investing, with expertise in secondaries, co-investments, and primary fund investments, managing approximately $82.3 billion in AUM across private equity, infrastructure, real assets, and private credit.

Requirements

  • Prior knowledge and deal experience (2-4 years) in infrastructure & real assets, private equity, investment banking, consulting, corporate development, or related roles
  • Strong financial modelling skills, ability to understand financial statements, interpret and calculate key financial metrics
  • Ability to learn quickly, take initiative and handle a large amount of responsibility early on
  • Interest in working in a fast-paced deal execution environment with the ability to perform well under pressure with minimum supervision to meet tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated and resourceful; able to multi-task and focus on delivering results
  • Strong problem solving, influencing and relationship building skills – ability to build relationships internally and externally with General Partners, clients, brokers, consultants, and management teams
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel on a varying basis

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate investment opportunities through financial modeling and due diligence
  • Prepare and present investment recommendations to the Investment Committee on deal findings and other analyses
  • Assist with deal closing processes alongside the Investment Structuring Team and legal counsel
  • Represent team and build rapport with partners and counterparties by attending GP/company board meetings, industry events, and other ad-hoc meetings
  • Monitor and assist in the management of existing portfolio companies and investments
  • Support client and fundraising requests and participate in client and fundraising meetings
  • Conduct market and sector research for use in pitchbooks, client materials or external publications
