About The Position

The Investment Associate will support investment programs, portfolio management, investor relations, fundraising, and special projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career finance professional interested in startups, venture capital, entrepreneurship, and working with growing businesses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience through internships, academic projects, or professional roles in finance, consulting, investment, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Interest or experience in startups, venture capital, private equity, entrepreneurship, or early-stage companies.
  • Strong financial analysis, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort with financial and analytical tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong interest in supporting entrepreneurs and growing businesses.
  • Willingness to participate in occasional evening events and travel as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRM, fund management, or financial software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Source and screen prospective investment opportunities.
  • Conduct market research, financial analysis, due diligence, and competitive analysis.
  • Develop financial models, investment memos, presentations, and other investment materials.
  • Support investment committee activities and financing transactions.
  • Monitor portfolio company performance, milestones, and reporting requirements.
  • Assist portfolio companies with identifying needs, resources, and potential solutions.
  • Support investor communications, reporting, and relationship management.
  • Assist with fundraising efforts and development of new financing programs.
  • Support fund operations, compliance, documentation, and reporting.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, entrepreneurs, investors, professional advisors, and external partners.
  • Participate in outreach, networking, and events supporting the organization’s investment and entrepreneurship initiatives.
  • Support special projects and other strategic initiatives as needed.
