From day one, you will work on live deals to identify, evaluate, and support execution of investments across stages. The right candidate is intellectually curious, commercially sharp, highly organized, and energized by being around ambitious colleagues and founders. If you are passionate about the AI-driven reinvention of financial services, and motivated by high standards and real responsibility, we’d love to meet you. We’re especially excited about candidates who are early adopters and daily users of AI tools and who want to apply that lens to venture investing and the future of financial services.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, VC/PE, a high-performing fintech startup, or another rigorous environment.
  • Proven ability to build and defend thoughtful financial models and valuations, and to interpret what the numbers imply about the business beyond the statements.
  • Early adopter and power user of AI tools, with enough technical fluency to evaluate AI-enabled products and embed AI-powered workflows into how you operate.
  • Consistently high attention to detail, with a reputation for being thorough and dependable.
  • Comfortable owning workstreams end-to-end, juggling priorities, and moving quickly while keeping the bar high.
  • Domain knowledge in financial services is a plus; genuine interest in technology and financial services is essential.
  • Clear, structured thinking, alongside strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing & Market Development: You’ll help build and maintain our fintech pipeline by spending time in the market and meeting people. You’ll attend conferences and events, and build relationships with founders, operators, and other investors, and you’ll bring us opportunities across stages. You’ll stay close to emergent applications of AI for consumers and enterprises, and you’ll help us keep a current view of what matters and why.
  • Analysis: You’ll help evaluate potential investments from first meeting through decision, and you’ll research markets and competitors, and you’ll assess business models and unit economics, and you’ll build financial models that reflect how a company makes money. You will dig into assumptions and ask sharp questions, and you’ll synthesize your work into clear, well-reasoned perspectives for the team.
  • Execution: You’ll help run the diligence process and keep deals moving forward. You will be driving the process of evaluating potential transactions from start to finish. You can run fast and make things happen on your own; this position will require you to be super-productive in a highly independent way. You are good at simply figuring things out and don’t get flustered easily.
