Threadline Wealth is an independent SEC-registered investment adviser serving high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners. We combine sophisticated wealth management and investment solutions with a highly personalized client experience. We are a modern independent firm focused on long-term growth, operational excellence, and thoughtful collaboration across advisory, investment, operations, and client service teams. The Investment Analyst is a member of the Investment Team and supports the firm’s investment reporting, research, documentation, and due diligence processes across public-market and alternative investments. This role is responsible for producing accurate and timely investment materials, maintaining organized and reliable investment data and documentation, coordinating due diligence activities, and responding to information requests from advisors and other internal stakeholders. The Investment Analyst also supports Investment Committee reporting, private investment communications, client proposals, retirement plan research, and trading operations. The position is well suited for an individual who takes ownership of detailed work, follows through consistently, and enjoys improving processes. It provides meaningful exposure to portfolio management, investment research, alternative investments, manager due diligence, and advisor-facing investment communications. This position is based in Bellevue, Washington. We anticipate a hybrid work arrangement, with regular in-office collaboration expected approximately 1-3 days per month. Remote work flexibility is supported, along with occasional travel. This position is classified as a fulltime, exempt position under applicable wage and hour laws.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Finance or related field preferred
  • 1+ year of experience in investment research, financial services, or a related support or analyst role
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all work outputs
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple workflows and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; ability to work with data efficiently and produce clean, professional materials
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information in a format useful for advisors and clients
  • Interest in wealth management and supporting advisors serving high-net-worth clients

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with alternative investments, private funds, or investment reporting is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage recurring reporting processes for private and alternative investments, ensuring reports are complete, accurate, timely, and consistently prepared.
  • Support the preparation of monthly performance reports, fund summaries, portfolio materials, and Investment Committee presentations.
  • Maintain investment data, documentation, and reporting records in accordance with firm standards and established procedures.
  • Review investment materials for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and appropriate presentation before distribution.
  • Identify data discrepancies, missing information, and reporting issues and coordinate their resolution with appropriate internal or external parties.
  • Support due diligence activities across public-market, private-market, and alternative investment strategies.
  • Gather, organize, and summarize investment manager, fund, performance, risk, operational, and portfolio information.
  • Prepare due diligence materials and assist investment professionals with quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Coordinate manager meetings and due diligence calls, including scheduling, agenda preparation, meeting notes, follow-up items, and document retention.
  • Maintain current and complete due diligence files, manager communications, fund materials, and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor assigned investment strategies and assist with recurring reviews and updates.
  • Maintain alternative investment records, reporting materials, fund documents, presentations, and advisor resources.
  • Prepare and update advisor-facing materials regarding private and alternative investments.
  • Support internal communications regarding capital calls, distributions, valuations, fund developments, and other investment updates.
  • Partner with the Senior Portfolio Manager to develop and deliver advisor training related to private investment reporting, documentation, and communications.
  • Respond to advisor requests for investment research, portfolio information, fund materials, and related documentation.
  • Prepare clear and professional investment summaries, presentations, and communications for internal and client-facing use.
  • Support proposal preparation for prospective and existing clients.
  • Assist with investment-related information requests arising from client meetings, portfolio reviews, and business development activities.
  • Maintain advisor-facing investment resources so that materials remain current, accurate, and readily accessible.
  • Support the firm’s 401(k) research process, including maintaining investment summaries, fund information, comparison materials, and related resources.
  • Assist with trading queue operations by reviewing information for completeness, monitoring assigned requests, and coordinating with the trading and implementation teams.
  • Serve as a backup resource for designated trading functions after completing required training and demonstrating appropriate proficiency.
  • Escalate trade instructions, data discrepancies, timing concerns, and other exceptions in accordance with firm procedures.
