About The Position

Verition Fund Management LLC (“Verition”) is a multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund founded in 2008. Verition focuses on global investment strategies including Credit, Fixed Income & Macro, Convertible & Volatility Arbitrage, Event-Driven, Equity Long/Short & Capital Markets, and Quantitative Strategies. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Analyst to join an Industrials team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience at a hedge fund focused on investing in Industrials with a strong academic background and a proven track record of excellence.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant experience on the buyside, focused on industrial or consumer public equities.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a solid understanding of financial statements, modeling, and valuation techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic, and a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth fundamental research and analysis.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and macroeconomic factors impacting the sector.
• Support portfolio manager in portfolio construction and risk management.
• Participate in meetings with company management teams, industry experts, and sell-side analysts.
• Continuously update and improve investment theses based on new information and market developments.
