About The Position

iA Global Asset Management (iAGAM), a subsidiary of iA Financial Group, is seeking an Investment Analyst specializing in high yield bonds and equity. This role is part of a high-performance team dedicated to market competitiveness, managing approximately $4.8 billion in assets within iAGAM. The analyst will contribute to the mission by conducting research, evaluating investments, and supporting portfolio management activities.

Requirements

Undergraduate degree required.
3 - 8 years of relevant work experience related to investment analysis.
Exceptional analytical research skills, curiosity and intellectual rigour.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to react quickly and under pressure.
Excellent communication skills.
Rigour in analysis and in constructing valuation models.
Genuine passion for investment analysis.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Nice To Haves

Experience in fixed income is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Performing quantitative and qualitative research and analysis of North American high yield bond and equity markets.
Evaluating investments and opportunities based on the iAGAM’s Strategic Funds Investment Process.
Ad hoc research, analysis and portfolio related project work.
Developing and updating valuation and market related investment models.
Assisting in the development of monthly/quarterly/annual previews and summaries for clients.
Evaluation, analysis and preparation of periodic reports pertaining to portfolio performance and attribution of returns and general day-to-day discussions on key investment developments.
Participating in the sales process by supporting various distribution networks.
