About The Position

The Senior Investment Analyst is an investment professional responsible for recurring manager monitoring, portfolio analysis, diligence support, data quality, investment reporting and due diligence investment materials. This position will support the fixed income and hedge fund asset classes. This individual will be a visible member of the team who will play a meaningful role in the research process, and providing support to the senior-level investment staff.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience working in investment analysis, or financial management in a role requiring excellent financial analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated experience requiring application of higher-level judgement and business skills including critical thinking and problem solving, professional judgement, leadership and teamwork and time management.
  • Demonstrated experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet and e-mail, and scheduling applications.
  • Demonstrated experience in a role requiring effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, CFA Level progress or desire to work toward these certifications.
  • Experience with hedge funds, fixed income, or multi-asset institutional portfolios.

Responsibilities

  • Own ongoing monitoring of assigned investment managers, portfolios, and asset classes, including performance, benchmark-relative results, exposures, risk metrics, and key qualitative developments.
  • Maintain supporting dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Conduct quantitative due diligence on external investment managers and assist in evaluating new opportunities relative to existing managers, portfolio needs, and broader investment trends.
  • Review quarterly manager materials and proactively identify performance exceptions, portfolio positioning changes, team developments, risk considerations, compliance items, and required follow-up actions.
  • Prepare due diligence reports, manager reviews, committee materials, and internal recommendation memos; support development of PowerPoint presentations and quarterly Investment Committee materials.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date manager pipeline data, including diligence status, meeting notes, next steps, and supporting documentation across internal systems.
  • Support portfolio construction and management, including commitment pacing, liquidity monitoring, allocation reviews, scenario analysis, and cash management.
  • Execute investment operations processes, including initiating trades and wire transfers (e.g., public equities, mutual funds, commingled trusts, ETFs, capital calls), and supporting reconciliation of performance and transaction data.
  • Maintain and validate data across systems (e.g., performance and risk tools), ensuring completeness, accuracy, and consistency of portfolio activity, cash flows, exposures, and manager reporting.
  • Lead or support meeting preparation, participate in manager and internal meetings, and ensure follow-up items are clearly documented and executed.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency in report review, document summarization, meeting notes, and draft materials, while applying independent judgment and validating outputs.
