About The Position

RBC Dominion Securities is seeking individuals to become Investment Advisors. This role involves building and managing long-term client relationships with high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and foundations. The opportunity offers the chance to run your own business with the support and reputation of RBC, while helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of outbound sales experience and comfortable earning 100% commission.
• Completed the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) or will prior to start date.
• Self-motivated, with integrity, empathy, and a commitment to a career as an Investment Advisor.
• Recognize the value of hard work and investment of time to build a successful business.
• Bilingualism (English and French) required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in financial services or a direct marketing role.
• Demonstrated success in high-value sales and business development, regardless of industry/discipline.
• Financial planner diploma granted by the Institute of Financial Planning, Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation, etc.

Responsibilities

• Establish a client base of high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and foundations and manage their complex financial needs.
• Leverage investment strategy to create customized wealth management and investment services for clients.
• Foster trusted, often multi-generational, long-term relationships using personalized service and advice.
• Establish and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with RBC partners such as Personal & Commercial Banking, Insurance, etc.
