This position conducts research to identify and prepare information and records required for public records, ADOA Risk Management, the Attorney General's Office and outside counsel for defense or representation in legal matters; assists and coordinates with legal counsel and agency personnel in defense of the agency, including identification and preparation of internal subject matter experts; collects data and issues arising from high liability exposure claims and torts; reviews and redacts records to public requests, pending claims and litigation matters, subpoenas and discovery requests pursuant to state and federal laws. Ensures evidence and record preservation orders are issued, sustained and lifted. This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.
