The incumbent in this position is one of the two supervisors in the Investigative Section. The incumbent is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the investigators and administrative staff. The incumbent supervises the personnel responsible for conducting investigations of abuse, neglect, mistreatment, financial exploitation, and other assorted complaints involving residents receiving services in long-term care facilities and psychiatric hospitals, and any licensed facility covered by DHCQ. The incumbent ensures the investigators are trained in and become familiar with all procedures for completing investigations, making appropriate referrals to other agencies, and making timely notification of case closures and disposition to reporting person, victims, and /or other appropriate persons.
