About The Position
Iowa's News Now is seeking an Investigative Reporter/MMJ to delve into stories, producing 2-3 in-depth pieces weekly. This role requires close collaboration with the news director and involves reporting, shooting, and editing news stories, developing original story ideas, and cultivating contacts. Additional responsibilities may be assigned.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2-3 years reporting experience
- Sharp news judgment
- Ability to tell an NPPA style story
- Excellent technical skills
- Ability to work well independently
- Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record
Nice To Haves
- Experience with live shots is a plus
