The LexisNexis Special Services Inc (LNSSI) Controlled Investigation Unit (CIU) delivers professional analyst services related to pattern analysis and next-event prediction, device geolocation and movement analytics, counter-threat protection, and operational data science in embedded roles that directly support operational and analytic teams. CIU analyst services support government customers in classified and sensitive segments of federal law enforcement, Department of Defense (DoD), and Intelligence Community (IC) by transforming complex data into actionable intelligence for criminal investigations, intelligence, prosecution, and proactive threat mitigation. As an Investigative & Geolocation Analyst you will work directly with operational and analytic teams and government leadership using advanced analytic methodologies and specialized software tools against large data sets and complex criminal investigations in a detail-oriented, fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. This role bridges advanced analytic capabilities with operational mission needs, translating complex analysis of geolocation data, communication records, and multi-sourced datasets into actionable intelligence and evidentiary products. Candidates must be able to operate professionally and productively, often without direct supervision, while conducting high-quality analysis, creating timely reports and exhibits, delivering briefings, and offering expert reach-back support seamlessly across diverse analytic, technical, and investigative teams in support of critical national security missions. This position supports classified, sensitive, and compartmented handling of operational data and deliverables and may require expert testimony in federal judicial proceedings.
