About The Position

ISN is actively seeking experienced Investigation Supervisors to support Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) programs within Central, Eastern, Midwest, Northen, Southern, and Western regions. The role involves providing regional oversight of fraud investigation teams, supporting nationwide SNAP retailer investigative activities, and managing daily operational oversight of nationwide field investigative staff. The position requires ensuring investigative activities comply with USDA FNS regulations, SNAP requirements, privacy standards, and evidentiary guidelines. Key responsibilities include tracking project milestones, supporting corrective action plans, responding to customer inquiries, compiling program metrics and reports, and supporting process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Experience with government contract performance standards, reporting requirements, and quality control frameworks is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SNAP requirements, policies, and procedures, particularly as they relate to retailer investigations, compliance, and enforcement.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in secure case management, data tracking, and collaboration systems to support remote oversight, quality review, and performance monitoring of nationwide government investigative programs.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 5 years' investigative experience (i.e. government/private investigative work)
  • Minimum of 5 years of senior or supervisory management experience with proven ability to resolve client issues, adept at management and technical review to ensure quality
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience managing a nationwide field staff for government projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing client-facing reports.
  • Proficient in navigating multiple systems simultaneously, maintaining data accuracy, and ensuring compliance.
  • Must be available to travel as needed
  • Demonstrate ability to manage tasks remotely to meet program needs
  • Must be U.S. citizen
  • Must willing to undergo federal background check to obtain security clearance as needed

Responsibilities

  • Provide regional oversight of fraud investigation teams and support for SNAP program
  • Support in planning, executing, and monitoring nationwide SNAP retailer investigative activities.
  • Assist with managing daily operational oversight of nationwide field investigative staff.
  • Ensure investigative activities comply with USDA FNS regulations, SNAP requirements, privacy standards, and evidentiary guidelines.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines to ensure contract compliance and on-time submission.
  • Support corrective action plans and follow-up activities when performance or compliance gaps are identified.
  • Support in responding to customer inquiries, data calls, and issue resolution.
  • Assist in compiling program metrics, performance reports, periodic status reports, and overall program deliverables.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance investigative efficiency, quality, and compliance.
