About The Position

This is a Temp-To-Full-Time position focused on managing and maintaining inventory allocation to support sales demand and operational efficiency. The role involves accurately monitoring inventory reserves, generating reports on allocation activity, and allocating carpet and rug inventory across multiple locations based on demand and availability. Key responsibilities include posting and managing backorders, receiving and processing general supply purchase orders, and performing daily inventory adjustments across extensive location networks. The position also requires reviewing and reconciling deductions from lot cutting reports, collaborating with internal departments, and providing dedicated support to showrooms and associates for inventory inquiries. Maintaining accurate inventory records within ERP systems, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and assisting with reporting and analysis for process improvement are also crucial aspects of this role.

  • Collaborate with internal departments (sales, operations, purchasing) to align on inventory needs
  • Provide dedicated support to showrooms and internal associates for inventory and reserve inquiries via phone and email
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP systems
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory data
  • Assist with reporting, analysis, and continuous improvement of inventory processes
