About The Position

The Warehouse Inventory Manager is responsible for inventory accuracy, product flow, material investigations, and warehouse coordination for Old Hickory Smokehouse. This role manages the inventory team, maintains stock integrity, resolves inventory discrepancies, supports QA and production operations, and ensures accurate movement and documentation of all products.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in warehouse inventory management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate discrepancies.
Proficiency with inventory management systems and warehouse software.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move products for extended periods during the shift.
Ability to work in warehouses, cold storage, and production environments.

Experience managing inventory across multiple facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage the Inventory for Old Hickory Smokehouse
Coordinate with production, purchasing, and shipping to maintain optimal stock levels.
Manage space optimization throughout the warehouse.
Maximize cost reduction and loss prevention.
Conduct inventory audits and full physical stock counts; investigate and resolve variances.
Verify accuracy of finished goods, raw material, dry goods location for Old Hickory Smokehouse.
Review inventory reports and correct discrepancies.
Ensure efficient flow of raw materials and finished goods through the production process.
Investigate damaged, returned, and mislabeled products and determine proper disposition.
Report purchase order issues to QA for claim resolution.
Monitor QA and R&D inventory levels.
Review orders and communicate issues with shipping, production, and customer service.
Maintain ongoing cross-department communication to prevent delays and ensure inventory accuracy.
Coordinate employee sales, giveaways, and discounted product programs.
Ensure proper controls and documentation for all special product distributions.
