About The Position

At Precision Garage Door, we are dedicated to providing top-quality garage door services and products. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Inventory and Warehouse Leader to support our busy operations. If you're a hardworking individual with a passion for getting the job done, we want to hear from you! The NJ Inventory and Warehouse Lead is responsible for the maintenance and organization of the Company’s Warehouse and Facilities. The Warehouse Associate will maintain inventory integrity through receiving, shipping, stock counts, etc. They will also assist the Technicians and Installers with jobs by helping to load and stock their trucks. The Warehouse Associate will also be responsible for keeping the warehouse and facilities clean, organized, and stocked whenever necessary. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the transport of materials, tools, and supplies between company warehouses.

Requirements

  • Proficient in computer skills to learn and use the current ERP system (ServiceTitan).
  • Excellent computer skills in Google Docs.
  • Knowledge of purchasing in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrate continuous improvement within the purchasing job.
  • Excellent mechanical and technical skills.
  • Drive and willingness to learn.
  • Physically able to move items weighing 75 lbs or higher.
  • Ability to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Possess interpersonal skills to relate to customers and solve issues.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Reliable and self-motivated.
  • Must pass Drug test, Background check and Motor Vehicle check.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Be able to drive a company vehicle and possess a valid driver license.
  • Proper maintenance of scheduled services and cleanliness of vehicle.
  • Knowledge of computers and tablet use.
  • GED, High School Diploma, or suitable equivalent.
  • Ability to work and adapt in all types of weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

  • Possible travel up to 5% for acquisition inventory.
  • Knowledge in google search and Navigation systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of hand tools, mechanical tools, and garage door experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Work full day and beyond when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize the Company’s Warehouse and Facilities.
  • Maintain inventory integrity through receiving, shipping, and stock counts.
  • Assist Technicians and Installers by loading and stocking their trucks.
  • Keep the warehouse and facilities clean, organized, and stocked.
  • Transport materials, tools, and supplies between company warehouses.
  • Learn and use the current ERP system (ServiceTitan).
  • Use Google Docs for work.
  • Perform door pick ups at manufacturers (CHI, Amarr).
  • Work with inventory, warehouse, door, and scheduling teams to ensure timely ordering of items.
  • Work with AP on invoicing discrepancies related to POs and receipts.
  • Coordinate and manage annual inventory count for warehouses and vehicles.
  • Coordinate and manage offboarding counts and reconciliation for vehicles.
  • Process inventory before and after acquisitions, including travel to acquisition sites.
  • Assess and improve supply flows through area markets.
  • Identify and address gaps in inventory processes.
  • Create procedures to maintain accuracy in inventories across all locations.
  • Create templates and calendars for cycle counting and annual inventory.
  • Train new employees on inventory processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
