About The Position
We are looking for an independent Inventory & Vending Machine Specialist to manage and refill essential PPE safety vending machines at local distribution facilities. This is a hands-on job where you control your schedule, offering true flexibility with approximately 25 hours per week. It's an opportunity to stay active, work autonomously, and has the potential to quickly turn into a full-time career as the company expands.
Requirements
- Background in vending, retail merchandising, inventory, or route delivery.
- Comfortable using client tracking systems.
- Comfortable handling minor mechanical troubleshooting.
- A sharp eye for inventory numbers.
- Commitment to strict facility safety rules.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve PPE safety stock from on-site holding areas and keep vending units fully loaded.
- Visit sites 3-7 times a week depending on stock movement.
- Perform basic maintenance, swap machine coils for different product sizes, and ensure units are running smoothly.
- Log inventory updates in real-time on the client's system.
- Report any major technical glitches.
