About The Position
The Inventory Technician is responsible for receiving and pulling of raw materials and ensuring inventory accuracy. The activities involve, meticulous planning through cross-functional interactions and seamless flow of biomaterials from inventory to lab technicians.
Requirements
- High school graduate or experience in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in a variety of computer software programs including MS Office
- Ability to work in a team laboratory environment with knowledge or familiarity with scientific terminology.
- Excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to work cross-functionally.
Nice To Haves
- A strong background in NHA Operations and Inventory function is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in a biological or chemical science field preferred but not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that material is pulled and available for lab techs in a timely manner.
- Ensure that material is returned to their long-term storage locations and updated in FreezerPro daily.
- Integrate new stock material into inventory as soon as possible.
- Monitor stock levels of inventory and work with procurement team to replenish stock as needed.
- Assist Operations Team and Lab Team on an as needed basis.
- Participate in quarterly inventory counts
