About The Position

At CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy, our focus is patient-centered care. Our full range of medical services includes trauma services, heart and vascular care, emergency services, surgery, maternity, cancer care, and diagnostic imaging.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED
• One (1) year supply chain related experience or other relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and accurately manage supplies and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels.
• Receive, stock, issue, and track inventory, performing counts, reconciling discrepancies, processing orders, and utilizing management systems.
• Restock supplies daily and rotate inventory supporting accurate inventory levels, generating orders/requisitions as needed.
• Distribute medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas, while monitoring par levels for specific products to assure that appropriate levels are established in order not to affect patient care.
• Identify excess inventory, returning stock and processing credits.
• Notify supervisor of outdates or slow moving inventory.
• Participate in the put away and validation process of perpetual inventory items; issue and credit materials from the inventory management system.
• Maintain clean and orderly stock locations, and label bins and handle requests to change pars.
